Sahar Khawatmi received her Engineering Diploma in Electronic Engineering – Computer Engineering in 2008 From Aleppo university – Electrical and Electronic Engineering  faculty.

Because she was ranked first among other students she was assigned as an assistance at her Faculty and taught ( Modeling and Simulation Systems – Computer Maintenance – C++ Programming language – Parallel Systems ) subjects .

She got a scholarship From her university to get a Phd in Modeling and Simulation Systems.

Her diploma thesis was concerned with designing and implementation of a distributed learning system, it aims to implement learning system for children with disabilities to improve their skills and abilities by using simple interfaces and  interactive attractive games and tests.

In August 2011, Sahar commenced working on her PhD in the Signal Processing Group.
