Dr.-Ing. Michael Fauß received the ITG dissertation award for his PhD thesis “Design and Analysis of Optimal and Minimax Robust Sequential Hypothesis Tests”.

The award ceremony took place on November 27 in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin. In addition to Dr. Fauß, TU Darmstadt was also represented by Prof. Steinmetz and Prof. em. Sessler, who were awarded fellowships of the ITG.

The Information Technology Society (ITG) is the oldest society within the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE), which is one of the largest technical and scientific associations in Europe with more than 36,000 members.
