Jürgen Hahn received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in computer engineering (“Informationssystemtechnik”) from Technische Universität Darmstadt in October 2009 and August 2011, respectively. His bachelor thesis was titled “Segmentation, Feature Extraction and Classification in Through-the-Wall Radar Imaging”. In his master thesis, he investigated different methods to adapt compressive sensing techniques to hyperspectral imaging. His master thesis has been awarded with the ISRA Machine Vision prize (opens in new tab), founded by Technische Universität Darmstadt and ISRA VISION AG. He is also recipient of the IEEE GRSS 2013 Data Fusion – Best classification award.

In October 2011 Jürgen commenced work on his Ph.D. in the Signal Processing Group on Learning Feature Representations with Applications to Hyperspectral Imaging and Decision Making.
