The “Signal Processing Crew” has been selected for the IEEE Signal Processing Cup final competition

In this year's IEEE Signal Processing Cup, the “Signal Processing Crew Darmstadt” is among the best three teams and will present its work at ICASSP 2015 in Brisbane to compete with a team from Bangladesh University of Engineering and one from Technology and Soongsil University for the first, second and third place. The final competition will take place on Thursday, 23 April 2015 in the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The prestigious competition is a competition that provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to form teams and work together to solve a challenging and interesting real-world problem using signal-processing techniques and methods. This year, the competition title was “Heart Rate Monitoring During Physical Exercise Using Wrist-Type Photoplethysmographic (PPG) Signals” and more than 50 teams all around the world took part in it.
