Last October, a total of 39 leading scientists were newly elected to acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering, including Prof. Dr.-Ing. Abdelhak M. Zoubir. At this year's acatech General Assembly in Berlin, he introduced himself and his research interests.

acatech advises politics and society, supports innovation policy development and represents the technological sciences internationally. As a full member, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Abdelhak M. Zoubir is now contributing his proven expertise in the field of signal processing.

Membership of acatech is also recognised for particularly excellent scientific achievements and services to the respective fields of research. Appointment as an acatech member is an honour that is associated with voluntary commitment. Members contribute their expertise to thematic networks, working groups and academy projects, the results of which form the basis for science-based and independent political and social advice.
