“curATalk Seminar Series”: Talk by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Abdelhak Zoubir

2022/02/15 17:30-2021/12/15 18:15

On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 17:30 – 18:15, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Abdelhak M. Zoubir will give an online seminar on Advanced Robust Signal Processing and Statistical Learning for Biomedial Applications as part of the curATalk Seminar Series 2021/2022 .

This talk introduces the Signal Processing Group at TU Darmstadt and reports upon some current projects where robust methods are developed and tested in real-world applications, such as, in radar-based vital signs monitoring, or in cardiovascular parameter estimation using wearables. A short overview is given upon some recent advances in the areas of robust estimation, robust detection, robust cluster analysis, and highdimensional learning. Links to open-source software toolboxes and additional tutorial material are provided.

The seminar takes place online via Zoom.

The curATalk Seminar Series 2021/2022 is a series of seminars that is organized by the Cluster für Atherothrombose und Individualisierte Medizin (curATime). curATime is one of the finalists of the Future Cluster Initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) (Clusters4Future). By combining artificial intelligence (AI)-driven biomarker research with immunological approaches, highly innovative diagnostics and therapy concepts for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases are to be developed.
