“WIE Talk: Success Stories” with Talks by Gyri Reiersen and Dr.-Ing. Michael Muma

This coming Thursday, November 11, 2021, 18:00 – 19:30, the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Germany Section organizes the online-event “WIE Talk: Success Stories”. As invited speakers, Gyri Reiersen and Dr.-Ing. Michael Muma talk about how to succeed in Tech.

Gyri Reiersen is a co-founder and the CTO of the Munich-based startup Tanso, which consults companies in reducing their carbon footprint. She is also engaged in the climate movement and co-founded the CDTM Climate Club in 2019. In addition, she is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers network. At “WIE Talk: Success Stories”, Reiersen describes the process of founding a climate technology start-up and informs on the latest trends and innovations in sustainable technology.
Dr.-Ing. Michael Muma is Athene Young Investigator at TU Darmstadt. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Signal Processing Group and the LOEWE center emergenCITY. In his talk, he will speak about how to successfully turn an idea into an actual innovation.
