Dr.-Ing. Muma has been elected to the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) Special Area Team in Theoretical and Methodological Trends in Signal Processing (SAT-TMSP) .

The main objective of the SATs is to facilitate the interaction and communication of EURASIP members in a specific scientific area. The SAT-TMSP promotes activities within the technical areas of theory and methods in signal processing. The scope has a broad span ranging from filtering and adaptive signal processing to statistical signal analysis, estimation and detection.
