Starting this year, Prof. A. Zoubir was elected president of The European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP). For the next two years the head of the Signal Processing Group will lead EURASIP. In his welcoming speech he stresses on EURASIP's mission “to improve communication between groups and individuals that work within the multidisciplinary, fast growing field of Signal Processing in Europe and elsewhere, and to exchange and disseminate information in the field all over the world.”
