Tim Schäck wins Three Minute Thesis® competition at EUSIPCO 2017

At this year's European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO) on Kos, Greece, Tim Schäck won out over the competitors from 6 other countries with the presentation about his thesis “Beating Atrial Fibrillation” during the finals of the Three Minute Thesis® (3MT®) competition.

The seven finalists, all PhD students from different universities in different countries, had to present their dissertation on only one slide and within only three minutes. This annual competition is organized by the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP).

The 3MT® is an prestigious international academic competition developed by The University of Queensland, Australia, for PhD students in 2008. Since then, the competition has grown to be held in over 200 universities worldwide and has been used as a trademark for regular competitions.
