Christian received the B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees both in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with major in Communication Engineering and Sensor Systems from Technische Universität Darmstadt, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. His bachelor thesis was entitled “Dempster-Shafer-Theory-Based Robust Sequential Detection in Distributed Sensor Networks”. During his masters he spent six month as a visiting researcher at the (opens in new tab) (Nanyang Technology University) in Singapore, where he worked on the localization of human motions by using WiFi signals. Christian’s master thesis investigated robust cluster enumeration criteria based on elliptical and skewed distributions. In 2021 he was awarded the Temasek Laboratories@NTU (opens in new tab) from the SEW-Eurodrive Foundation for his master thesis. Ernst-Blickle-Studienpreis
In April 2020 he joined the Signal Processing Group at TU Darmstadt and commenced working on his PhD.
