Luca Carlino received his Bachelor's degree with full marks in Information Engineering at University of Salento (Italy). In 2014, he received his Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering (summa cum laude) at the same university, with his M.Sc. thesis entitled “Localization based on power measurements in wireless networks”.
In 2014, he started his Ph.D. studies in “Complex systems engineering” at University of Salento. His main area of research is signal processing, while his Ph.D. research topic is applying signal processing techniques to the problem of localization, with a specific focus on localization based upon received signal strength. His other research interests include radar applications, target tracking, data mining and information theory.
