Advances in Digital Signal Processing: Imaging and Image Processing

The lecture deals with different concepts of active imaging used in modern radar and sonar. In the first part image formation, that is how to compute an image based on backscattered energy, is covered. Image processing techniques, i.e. image 'cleaning' and segmentation as well as detecting and classifying objects, are treated in the second part.
